Schedule of Events

Pier Lighting (Presented by the Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department)

• 6:00 PM: Enjoy a holiday performance by the Manhattan Beach Middle School Choir
• 6:30 PM: Listen to festive songs from the Mira Costa High School Choir
• 7:00 PM: Official Pier Lighting – watch as the iconic Manhattan Beach Pier lights up the night, marking the start of the holiday season!

Holiday Open House (Presented by the Downtown Business and Professional Association)

• Metlox Fountain Plaza (13th Street and Morningside Drive)

  • 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Meet Santa and hop on his sleigh for family photos, face painting, and treats! Enjoy live music by Jack Tracy on the ukulele, along with a balloon artist.
  • 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Strolling Dickens-style carolers, guitar by Michael Holmes

• Manhattan Avenue

  • 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Stop by {pages} a bookstore to see live reindeer and catch the Dietz Brothers Band at 10th Street.
  • Enjoy festive music from Hyperion Outfall Serenaders at Chase Bank, grab a taco from Larry’s Tacos at Manhattan Dental Solutions, and check out the bubbling fun at Bubblemania.

• Highland Avenue

  • 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Bacon-wrapped hot dogs from Danger Dogs at MB Watch Repair on 13th Street, and jazz saxophone by Matt Jazz on 12th Street.

• Strolling Carolers

  • 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Carolers will bring cheer throughout the streets of Downtown Manhattan Beach, creating a festive holiday atmosphere for all to enjoy.
