Bookish Flea Market Hermosa Beach

Hermosa Beach Russell Nomura and Yoshiko Oest March 17, 2026

Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026
Time: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: Clark Building, 861 Valley Dr, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

The Fleuria, in partnership with the Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library, is hosting its first Bookish Flea Market at the Clark Building in Hermosa Beach. This unique event brings readers together for an afternoon where books take center stage, with a community-driven market featuring reader-to-reader sales.

From 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, attendees can browse a wide range of books including special editions, well-loved favorites, and affordable finds, with many starting around $2. The event also includes a raffle featuring signed books and ARCs, along with a “Blind Date with a Book” experience curated by the Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library. The Fleuria’s book truck will also be on site, with a portion of sales benefiting the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), along with contributions from participating sellers.

For those looking to shop early, a preview hour will take place from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Guests who donate $5 or more to CHIRLA can receive early access to browse the collections before general admission begins at 2:00 PM. To enter early, attendees can show a screenshot of their donation receipt at check-in.

In addition to books, the event will feature local vendors including dirty sodas from Dirty Boots Soda and pastries from Cassie's Cakes LA, adding to the relaxed and community-focused atmosphere. Whether you are searching for your next read, hoping to discover something unexpected, or simply enjoying a slow afternoon, the market offers something for every kind of reader.

This is why We Love South Bay Local. Events like the Bookish Flea Market create thoughtful spaces for connection, creativity, and community while supporting meaningful causes right here in Hermosa Beach.
