Mark your calendar for an afternoon of music and community as the Southeast Torrance Library hosts Southeast Sessions: The South Bay Guitar Academy in Recital on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

This free performance will feature internationally acclaimed classical guitarist Alexander Milovanov, along with talented students from the South Bay Guitar Academy, which he founded right here in Torrance.

Born in Belarus, Mr. Milovanov has performed on some of the world’s most respected stages—including Walt Disney Concert Hall—and brings a passion for teaching that’s evident in the growing community of young musicians he mentors.
