Help keep our local beaches clean during the 42nd Annual Coastal Cleanup Day at the Manhattan Beach Pier. The Roundhouse Aquarium is partnering with Heal the Bay and the California Coastal Commission for a morning dedicated to protecting our shoreline and bringing the community together.
Volunteers will check in at the base of the pier beginning at 8:45 AM, pick up cleanup supplies, and participate in a brief safety talk before heading out to collect trash along the coast. Participants will return their collected trash and data cards to the weigh station before the event wraps up at noon.
The cleanup is free to participate in, with online registration opening soon. Donations are also welcome and help support the Roundhouse Aquarium's educational programs and its mission to remain free for visitors throughout the year.
Whether you come with friends, neighbors, or on your own, Coastal Cleanup Day is an easy way to spend a Saturday morning giving back and helping care for one of the places that makes the South Bay so special.
Our beaches are such a big part of life in the South Bay, and we love seeing the community come together to take care of them. Coastal Cleanup Day gives all of us a hands-on way to make a difference while helping keep Manhattan Beach beautiful.
