Looking for a creative way to celebrate Halloween? Walteria Library in Torrance is hosting Craftopia: BOO-tiful Ghosts on Friday, October 23. This free, adults-only crafting workshop invites participants to create their own glowing ghost decorations using simple materials and a little creativity. Whether you enjoy making seasonal decorations or want to try a new craft, this event offers a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit.

As part of the Torrance Public Library's Craftopia series, the workshop focuses on creating handmade projects in a welcoming library setting. For this Halloween-themed session, participants will make an adorable ghost decoration using air-dry clay, Mod Podge, and a battery-operated tea light. The finished project is designed to glow, making it a festive addition to your Halloween decorations.

The craft is beginner-friendly, so you don't need previous crafting experience to participate. It's an opportunity to learn a new technique, work with different materials, and create something you can display at home. The glowing ghost design adds a playful Halloween touch without being too spooky, making it a decoration you can enjoy throughout the season.

Craftopia is also a chance to spend time away from your usual routine and enjoy a creative afternoon with other adults in the community. Whether you attend with a friend or come on your own, the workshop offers an opportunity to explore your artistic side and connect with others who enjoy making things by hand.

The Craftopia: BOO-tiful Ghosts workshop takes place on Friday, October 23, at 4:30 PM at Walteria Library, located at 3815 W 242nd St in Torrance. Admission is free, and the program is intended for adults only.
