The 5th Annual Gardena Valley JCI Izakaya returns to Gardena for an evening of Japanese-inspired food, beverages, and community celebration. Hosted at the GVJCI Nisei Veterans Memorial Hall, this 21+ fundraising event brings together specialty tastings, local chefs, and cultural experiences in a festive izakaya-style atmosphere.

From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, guests can enjoy a curated menu featuring Japanese small bites, handrolls, desserts, and beverage pairings. The evening includes sake tastings hosted by Mutual Trading Company, specialty mocktails featuring Aiya Matcha, Calpico White Peach, and Mitsuya Cider, along with beer and other refreshments.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to sample treats from Yamanaka Kakigori and King's Hawaiian while enjoying music and socializing with fellow guests. The event highlights a variety of flavors and experiences inspired by traditional Japanese izakaya gatherings while supporting the programs and mission of the Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute.

Several ticket options are available, including General Admission, Non-Alcoholic, and VIP experiences. VIP guests receive access to an enhanced premium sake tasting, while all ticket levels include food, dessert, drinks, and a special gift.
