Lemonade Day Returns to Hermosa Beach!

Hermosa Beach Russell Nomura and Yoshiko Oest April 3, 2025

Date: Sunday, April 6, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Various locations throughout Downtown Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

Hermosa Beach is once again serving up creativity, hustle, and a whole lot of lemonade! The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce is proud to host its 3rd annual Lemonade Day on Sunday, April 6, from 12 PM to 4 PM. This national program teaches students the fundamentals of entrepreneurship by guiding them through the process of planning, setting up, and operating their very own lemonade stand.

All participating students in Hermosa Beach are in grades 3–8 and either live in Hermosa or attend school there. Each student has completed a full training program, including health certifications and a financial literacy lesson provided by the event’s partners. These young entrepreneurs are ready to put their knowledge into action and share their delicious creations with the community.

Lemonade Day coincides with the Hermosa Beach Spring Sidewalk Sale, giving these student-run stands a built-in audience and a great opportunity to shine. While it's a fun day of sweet drinks and cheerful smiles, there's a larger goal—students are also competing for a chance to represent Hermosa at the national level!
