Their Story:
In 2013, Connor Wohl, a freshman at Mira Costa High School, noticed a lack of consistent, organized car events in the South Bay. Partnering with Aidan Nesicolaci, President of the Davinci High School Classic Car Club, they hosted the first Manhattan Beach Concourse D' Elegance on May 31, 2014. After a successful event and the subsequent 2015 Festival of Motoring, they realized the need for a monthly event to rally the local car community.
In Spring 2016, Connor and Aidan launched Manhattan Beach Cars and Coffee at the Mira Costa High School parking lot. Partnering with South Bay Exotics, the event quickly grew in popularity. When the initial team moved off to college, Zach Wohl, a Mira Costa High School student, took over, ensuring the event continued to thrive.
Today, Manhattan Beach Cars and Coffee represents the core values developed by Connor and Aidan, focusing on community and a shared passion for automobiles. The event continues to grow, bringing together car enthusiasts from across the South Bay and Greater LA area.
Wax your car, throw it into first gear, and head over to Manhattan Beach Cars and Coffee for an automobile enthusiast's paradise. No RSVP required – just show up and enjoy the community vibes! This is why we Love South Bay Local!
