San Pedro Heritage Museum Presents: San Pedro On Film 2024

Get ready to step back in time and explore the fascinating role San Pedro has played in Hollywood’s history! On Sunday, September 15, 2024, the San Pedro Heritage Museum will present SAN PEDRO ON FILM 2024, a live talk event at the Grand Annex (434 W. 6th St.), showcasing the port town’s recurring role as a backdrop in numerous films, TV shows, and commercials from the 1970s and '80s. This is a unique opportunity to see your hometown as it was, in places that may no longer exist, through the lens of the entertainment industry.

The program, hosted by Joshua Stecker, publisher of San Pedro Today, will feature clips from notable productions filmed in San Pedro, alongside historical photos and fun facts. Concessions:

The Grand Annex offers a locally stocked concessions booth featuring wine, beer, soft drinks, and snacks. Please note that all alcoholic beverages must be purchased on-site, with a $20 corkage fee for any outside bottled wine. ID is required for alcohol purchases, and management reserves the right to refuse service.
