Get ready to kick off summer with Picnic on the Peninsula, returning for its second year on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Malaga Cove School in Palos Verdes Estates.

This free, family-friendly event marks the official start of the 2025 Summer @ PVLD program—an annual community favorite featuring activities and events hosted by the Palos Verdes Library District all summer long.

Bring your family, friends, neighbors—and your picnic blanket!—and spend the morning enjoying a variety of fun activities for all ages. Here’s a little of what you can look forward to:
