The Manhattan Beach Rotary Club is honoring service, sacrifice, and community at the 6th Annual VetFest on Saturday, November 8, from 12 PM to 5 PM. This heartfelt event pays tribute to veterans and first responders while raising funds for organizations that support those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Set in the heart of Manhattan Beach, VetFest has grown into one of the South Bay’s most anticipated annual gatherings. The event features live performances by The Pine Mountain Logs and Joe’s Band, along with delicious bites from local food trucks, engaging kids’ activities, and resource booths offering valuable information for veterans and their families. It’s a family-friendly celebration with a purpose — blending fun, gratitude, and philanthropy.

Admission is free for all veterans and first responders, and $60 for the general public, with proceeds benefiting impactful causes such as Operation Mend (UCLA), Team Rubicon, Pin Up for Vets, and the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation. Each of these organizations provides essential support — from mental health care and rehabilitation to community reintegration — helping veterans transition successfully into civilian life.

This year’s VetFest is especially significant as the Manhattan Beach Rotary Club celebrates its 75th anniversary. Since its founding in 1949, the Rotary has been a pillar of the community, supporting both local and international initiatives through service, education, and compassion. VetFest perfectly embodies that mission, uniting neighbors, families, and veterans for a day of connection and appreciation.

Events like VetFest remind us why We love South Bay Local — they bring people together to honor courage, give back to the community, and celebrate the values that make our neighborhoods strong. Whether you come to support a great cause, enjoy live music, or simply say “thank you” to those who’ve served, VetFest is a day filled with heart, pride, and community spirit.
