Friday Fun at Madrona Marsh Preserve is the perfect opportunity for children ages 3 to 6 to explore the wonders of science, art, and the natural world! Taking place every Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this interactive program offers a blend of storytime, guided exploration, and creative activities in the heart of Torrance’s beautiful urban wetland.

What to Expect

Each Friday Fun session is carefully designed to engage young minds with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities:
Storytime & Science – Enjoy an interactive learning experience inside the Nature Center, where kids explore science and storytelling in a fun and engaging way.
Arts & Crafts – Get creative with themed activities that encourage imagination and hands-on learning.
Nature Walk & Preserve Tour – Step outside to explore the trails of Madrona Marsh, a rare natural habitat filled with plants, wildlife, and seasonal wonders.

Spots are limited to 15 participants per session, and advance registration is required. Call (310) 782-3989, Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM to reserve a spot. If your plans change, kindly cancel in advance to allow another family to participate.
