Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair

Fair Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (both days)

Come out and support over 200 fine arts and crafts vendors at the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair! Explore a wide variety of unique, quality hand-crafted items ranging from glass, metal, wood, ceramics, oil painting, watercolors, jewelry, clothing, and more. Here’s what you can expect:

Beer Garden

Enjoy refreshing beverages in the Beer Garden, staffed by local charities benefiting Manhattan Beach youth. Four charities were selected through a lottery in June to operate the Beer Garden.

Wine Garden

Visit the expanded Wine Garden for a delightful experience with delicious wines, socializing, and fun. Featuring wines from Uncorked Wine Shops and Weekday Vibes non-alcoholic wine spritzers, the Wine Garden has tables and umbrellas perfect for relaxation.

Paid Games

South Bay service clubs bring unique and fun games to the fair. Be sure to submit your application early to join the excitement!

Free Games

Kids of all ages can enjoy free games offered at the Hometown Fair, thanks to generous donations from local merchants providing prizes for each game.

Kids Under 4

For our youngest visitors, Kid Country features magicians, balloon artists, wildlife shows, a petting zoo, and pony rides.

Arts & Crafts

Browse and shop original artistry at more than 200 fine arts and crafts booths. Artists showcase a variety of wares, including glass, metal, wood, ceramics, oil painting, watercolors, jewelry, and clothing.

Food Booths

Indulge in a smorgasbord of food across Dorsey and Live Oak fields, with hot entrees like pepper bellies, hamburgers, pizza, pulled pork, tri-tip, and funnel cake. Refresh with drinks like water, lemonade, sodas, frozen lemonade, Hawaiian shave ice, and boba.

Parade

The fair kicks off with a parade on Saturday morning at 10 AM. The parade features local boy and girl scout troops, antique cars carrying city officials, and performances by the Mira Costa Marching Band and Drill Teams, and the Manhattan Beach Middle School Chorus singing the National Anthem.

The fair spans Valley Drive and Veterans Park, the Joslyn Center, and both Live Oak Park and Dorsey Field.

  • General Fair Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM - 6 PM
  • Beer Garden: 10 AM - 6 PM (last call at 5:30 PM, ticket sales end at 5 PM)
  • Wine Garden: 11 AM - 6 PM (last call at 5:30 PM, ticket sales end at 5 PM)
  • Arts & Crafts: 10 AM - 6 PM
  • Food Booths: 10 AM - 6 PM
  • Games Booths: 10 AM - 6 PM
