This event is part of the Manhattan Beach Dune Restoration Project, a community-centered initiative led by The Bay Foundation in collaboration with the City of Manhattan Beach, LA County Departments, and the California State Coastal Conservancy. The project began in 2022 and aims to restore approximately 3 acres of beach dunes to support biodiversity and coastal resilience. Funded through the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund and California Climate Investments, this is a great example of climate action happening right here in the South Bay.

Events like this connect us to nature, community, and our shared responsibility to protect the places we call home. This is why We Love South Bay Local.
