About Destination: Art

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Destination: Art is a thriving community hub in downtown Torrance. Since its opening in November 2014, the gallery has been dedicated to inspiring South Bay residents through fine art making and instruction, art exhibitions, engaging speakers, and community outreach programs.

Mission

Destination: Art believes art is essential to the flourishing of the human spirit. Their mission includes:

Community Service

Destination: Art is committed to bringing art and beauty to the community. They work closely with local businesses and government officials to help the community prosper, often on a pro bono basis. Their initiatives include:

  • Decorating Christmas trees with handmade ornaments for Torrance Memorial Hospital.
  • Hosting special events for healthcare workers during the pandemic.
  • Leading and participating in local art walks.
  • Providing space for other local art groups during the pandemic.
  • Offering art workshops for young adults on the spectrum and other developmental disabilities, in collaboration with the Autism Society of Los Angeles.
