Family Fun Friday – Origami at the Torrance Civic Center Library offers a simple and creative way to spend the afternoon together. This hands-on event invites participants of all ages to explore the art of paper folding in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Starting at 4:00 PM, guests can learn how to transform paper into detailed shapes and designs through guided origami techniques. The activity is approachable for beginners while still engaging for those who may already be familiar with origami, making it easy for everyone to participate.

All materials are provided, allowing visitors to focus on the experience without needing to bring anything. The setting encourages creativity and connection, giving families a chance to slow down and work on something together.

In recognition of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the event also highlights the cultural significance behind origami and its place in artistic traditions.

Whether you stay for the full session or stop by to try a few folds, it is an easy and enjoyable way to spend time creating something by hand.

This is why We Love South Bay Local. Events like Origami Family Fun create space for creativity, learning, and connection right here in Torrance.
