The Riviera Garden Club will host its annual Spring Plant Sale Fundraiser at the Madrona Marsh Nature Center in Torrance. This community event offers a full day for garden enthusiasts, plant lovers, and anyone looking to add something new to their outdoor space.

From 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, visitors can browse a wide variety of plants sourced from local nurseries and growers. Some of the plants available have even been grown by members of the Riviera Garden Club themselves. Alongside the plants, guests will also find garden art, pots, and other items designed to bring creativity and personality to home gardens.

While the sale includes a range of plant types, many options are well suited to the South Bay’s Mediterranean climate, making it a great opportunity to discover plants that thrive in local conditions. Whether you are an experienced gardener or simply looking to start a small patio garden, the event offers inspiration and practical ideas for outdoor spaces.

Beyond the plants, the event supports an important cause. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Riviera Garden Club’s scholarship fund, which provides financial support to high school seniors in Torrance. By attending the plant sale, visitors help contribute to educational opportunities for local students while supporting a long-standing community organization.

Set against the natural surroundings of the Madrona Marsh Nature Center, the event also provides a chance to enjoy one of Torrance’s unique natural preserves while connecting with fellow gardening enthusiasts.

This is why We Love South Bay Local. Community events like this bring people together around shared interests while supporting education, local organizations, and the natural spaces that make the South Bay special.
