On Christmas Eve, the Johnson family throws a grand party where young Kara receives a special gift—a Nutcracker filled with hot chocolate, her favorite drink. As Kara drifts to sleep, the Nutcracker comes to life and whisks her away on a magical journey to fantastical lands, including:
